Job Title: Procurement and Commercial Manager

Location: Reading or Glasgow

Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 (depending on skills and experience) + car/cash allowance + annual bonus

Permanent - Full-Time Hours with flexible working patterns available

Our Role

Reporting to the Lead Procurement & Commercial Manager, in this role you will manage the interface between both the business unit and the Procurement and Commercial team. You will work with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with procurement and commercial policies and procedures whilst ensuring cost efficiency. Working within a client facing business, you will also be an integral part of the bid teams that design and implement procurement strategies to best meet client business requirements.

As a Procurement and Commercial Manager, you will engage regularly with Clients, Estimators, Lead Procurement and Commercial Managers, Category Managers and the Head of Procurement & Commercial Shared Services to ensure the wider function provides an effective and efficient service to the business. You will be required to continuously work to strategically improve procedures, standards or policies whilst adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Our Company

The Enterprise Division comprises four companies: Contracting, Rail, Telecoms and Utilities. The Projects and Operational Support Team support the entire Enterprise division leading the deployment of best practice in assurance, project management, engineering and in handling strategic projects.
