About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineering Division Manager to lead our NFXP Offshore Projects team in Qatar. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing all project engineering activities, ensuring project success on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards. You will provide strategic leadership and direction to your team, fostering a collaborative work environment that promotes innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Manage all Project Engineering activities for the NFXP Offshore Projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Promote a strong safety culture, prioritizing the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment.
Lead effective communication and coordination between all projects on cross-project issues.
Support the NFXP Offshore Project Manager in resolving technical and commercial issues, including SIMOPS and interface actions with Drilling & Completion and Operations Groups.
Monitor overall project performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Manage and close out cross-project technical and commercial issues.
Utilize project management expertise to identify and proactively address risks and issues with critical package vendors, leading resolution efforts and involving all relevant project functions.
Direct your team to provide critical input for project tenders and ensure effective support functions, including contracts, lessons learned, and risk management.
Provide guidance and input into contractor strategies to achieve project integration objectives.
Participate in offshore constructability reviews, pre-start-up reviews, and other relevant activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or similar) preferred; minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry is required.
At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in senior project management with a focus on project objectives, timely delivery, and leadership of contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
Proven track record of success in managing complex engineering projects in the offshore environment.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Experience working in a multicultural environment.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management.
Proficiency in project management software is a plus.
