Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Project Controls Division Manager on a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha, Qatar.

This is a long term residential contract position with an operator.

  • Manages and directs the work of the PMT's Project Controls Department in Qatar and EPC locations and provides support to Topsides, Jackets and Pipelines teams as required to ensure project controls deliverables are met across the Project. Provides training to PMT staff on project controls related functions.
  • Monitors Contractor's performance on all NFW Offshore Projects in areas of cost, including the preparation of forecasts, funding documents, stewarding and reporting cost against control budgets and approved funding, preparation of monthly cost allocations, SAP setup, verification of invoices and changes in line with ToFA.
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of Project schedule and Contractor's schedule development and schedule control including periodic progress measurement, schedule trends and forecasts
  • Reviews and monitors Contractor's Construction Progress schedules and reports for accuracy of progress measurement and advises Project Management to potential schedule issues and recommends remedial

Qualifications

· Bachelors' Degree in Engineering, Finance, Management, Business Administration ,equivalent professional qualification however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.

Knowledge and/or Experience

· 15 years' of experience in Oil & Gas Industry particularly within a business related function.

Minimum of 10 years supervisory experience.

· Worldwide experience with IOC's. Contractors and Vendors in particular those involved in the

construction of offshore facilities.
