Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Onshore NUI Superintendent, based in Aberdeen

The purpose of this position is to reduce responsibilities of the NUI OIM's. The NUI Supt shall be responsible for the planning and day to day operation and Maintenance for all relevant installations. The position holder will be qualified to OIM level in terms of experience, training and competence.

The job holder will have to develop good relationships with drilling rig OIMs and Rig Supt's (RSES-D's) to manage SIMOPS interfaces. The job holder will also require a clear understanding of all current, planned & future operational activities on the assets as well as interface operationally with the PUQ teams. The job holder will be expected to develop a medium term view of asset operations and contribute to accurate planning and preparation of operational activities on the NUI's within the asset planning process.
The focus will be to deliver the best and most balanced performance in terms of safety, production, operational efficiency and cost reduction.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
* Graduate or HNC qualification in Science/Technology with a minimum of 10 years' experience in hydrocarbon industry offshore environment.
* Management skills, particularly those associated with isolated locations are necessary for successful performance of the job.
* A deep understanding of the philosophy, practices and legal requirements governing offshore safety, production and logistics operations.
* A good understanding of drilling and construction. An understanding of diving and subsea works.
* Management skills to lead a large team of personnel on board. Must have credibility as a leader in times of crisis.
* Experienced enough with the integrity to make key decisions thereby ensuring campaigns &/or work programs remain efficient
