Hourly Rate: $25/hr

Orion Group is seeking a Formulations Production Scientist to work onsite in Hialeah for our premiere medical device manufacturing client. This is an exciting junior role to get your foot in the door with a global industry leader!

Specific job duties and responsibilities:
* Performs simple calculations according to procedures, and maintains accurate records of work performed according to GLP, GMP, and QSRs
* Manufactures buffers and diluents according to standard operating procedures and work instructions
* Participates on a Continuous Process Improvement Team, and is a contributor to team efforts within the department
* Typically receives minimal instruction on routine work; general instruction son new assignments
* Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained

Important skills and behaviors required to perform this job:
* Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry or related field required
* Previous laboratory work experience preferred, especially in an FDA/ISO regulated manufacturing environment
* Must be able to follow approved work instructions with attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize work tasks
* Ability to work within a team environment
* Possesses excellent communication and time management skills
* Experience with MS Office products, email
