Office Manager/Team Assistant

Temporary - 12 months, possibly longer

Start date to be confirmed - possibly end March/April

Pay rate - £170 to £180 per day PAYE

Full time, office based - Standard hours 08.30 to 17.30

Our client is seeking a Team Assistant to join their Project team to be based in their new offices in central Edinburgh.

Key accountabilities:

The successful candidate will be able to join this team at the start of this project therefore be the General Office Administrator and also manage reception. You will be the first point of contact to internal and external customers and office visitors. You will also assist visitors with travel arrangements, accommodation, office requirements etc.

Event/meeting coordination:Setting up and managing a range of conference meeting. Organising event/meeting hosted by Team and arranging relevant facilities and logistics

Manage new joiners to team process. including phone and laptop set up, inductions for new hires/contractor staff (including IT procurement, issuing of passes, stationery, local induction, HSSE and DSE asessments, knowledge of sit procedures) and manage exits.

Responsibe for putting safety and security procedures in place to manage access control to building and office space.

Experience and requirements:

Siginificant administration skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook.

Strong problem solving skills and ability to develop creative solutions to complex issues.

Strong networking and influencing capability: Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills.

Ability to engage at all levels of the organisation and establish credibility with peers, group leaders and senior executives; team player exhibiting high levels of inclusive behaviour.
