Job description
Our client has an opportunity for a Workshop Technician to join their team on full-time, permanent basis, based in Inverness.
As the Workshop Technician you will be required to service and repair products in a workshop environment and provide basic first line remote support.
Key Responsibilities
Repair and service of a diverse range of products
Routine maintenance and repair of underwater lights
Sole responsibilty to complete task and record time, parts used and details of work undertaken
Telephone support to customers
Technical support to the sales team
May be required to perform other duties resulting from organisational change, restructuring or temporary re-assignment of work.
Skills & Experience
Exposure to electrical, electronic or mechanical equipment
HNC/HND in electrical or electronic engineering or recognised technical apprenticeship
Support of, or direct involvement in maintenance and repair of electrical, electronic or mechanical equipment
Basic IT and networking experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Full driving licence
