Job description

ACTIVITIES

Define, develop, implement, maintenance and control of all necessary means and documents related to the internal MP Engineering organization.

  • Ensure development of engineering method statements, processes and procedures, work instructions, templates, check lists, etc.; ensure consistent utilization of them across all projects.
  • Review the current engineering activities and business processes within MP Engineering Team in order to identify the area of optimization and improvement.
  • Ensure development of Engineering Benchmark multidiscipline database by retrieving project key data at various phases of projects.
  • Ensure identification and capturing engineering lesson learnt through the project execution and capitalization of them across all new MP Projects.
  • Work closely with MP PCM Team to enable issuance of MP engineering lesson learned into the FAIDAH Tool.
  • Ensure Engineering Drive Map are up to date, audit the population of folders and files to ensure consistency with Drive Map
  • Ensure all latest revision of Project Basic Documents (SOR, SOW, BOD, MOM, etc. are stored in relevant folder and accessible.
  • Assist in preparation of Engineering team organization chart, job description, training matrix, work allocation matrix, etc.

Engineering progress monitoring &reporting, engineering audit and readiness assessment

  • Monitor engineering technical performance across the MP Projects; identify areas of vigilance/ area of concern and propose the way-forward.
  • Assist in performing audit within MP Engineering Team and across all projects to ensure compliance with MP Engineering processes/procedures.
  • Assist in performing engineering audits for Engineering Contractor(s) at various stages of project including CFT& CTR qualification, design, construction support and close out phases.
  • Assist to monitor overall progress of engineering for each package, work closely with Package Engineering Leads to execute readiness assessment for engineering development and project milestones/steps.
  • Prepare EMT weekly/monthly steering data/report, detailing overall progress across schedule, risks, changes, technical issues and resources to ensure accurate information is available to support decision making and opportunities.
  • Provide overall report on Engineering Deviation progress across Packages/Disciplines
  • Attend and prepare MOM for weekly engineering management meeting with Package Engineering Leads to review progress, technical issues and required supports from EMT.
  • Assist in preparation of ad-hoc report and presentation, Engineering Memo, MOM and etc.

Interface management within MP EMT, with MP projects (Gallaf and Ruya B1), Company entities, and external parties to provide support to Projects/Packages.

Support MP projects for planning, organizing, execution and control of full life cycle of engineering management activities from initiation to close out.

  • Support development of project overall data sheets by providing technical and engineering information
  • Work closely with EMT Support Team and Digitalization Team to capture all required support actions and monitor the progress.
  • Assist in development of MP engineering Risk Register at EMT level, ensure risks and associated mitigations are captured and progressed.
  • Assist in development of MP Engineering Change Register at EMT level, ensure changes are captured and are communicated within EMT and to Project/packages.
  • Assist in development of Value Engineering and Good Practice Register, ensure all information/feedback from projects are captured and communicated.
  • Work with package engineering team to ensure all technical feedback are captured in order to be reviewed and validated.
  • Support MP packages /projects by proving required tools and documents, ensure consistency along all the MP packages/projects.
  • Assist with overall project closeout, including completion documents, As-built, engineering, deficiency corrections and handover process.
  • Work with Package Engineering Team to finalize and issue the Engineering Close out Report.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Qualification: bachelor's degree in a technical discipline,
  • Graduate engineer with a good level of technical understanding of all engineering disciplines, with at least 10 years' experience of onshore/offshore oil & gas project,
  • Good knowledge of industry codes, standards and legislations on SHE aspect,
  • Familiar with Oil & Gas project organizations
  • Familiar with project procedures, Management System standards and guidelines.
  • Language: fluent English,
  • Computer literate,
  • Strong leadership skills and good communication skills,
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
