We have a current opportunity for a Maintenance Scheduler. The position will be based in Hoofddorp. For further information about this position please apply.

Onshore based role working closely with the Maintenance support team and offshore teams to ensure safe and cost-effective maintenance and responsive breakdown maintenance of plant and equipment via robust application of Work Management Processes.

Shares responsibility with the maintenance teams for meeting clearly defined Maintenance KPI's.

The Scheduler role is essential to ensuring that asset activities are scheduled for completion by their due date. It requires prioritizing work for the execution schedule and matching the capacities of resources and services to the work.

Maintains the 4W and frozen 7D schedule with integration of activities from the 3M plan.

  • The integrated schedule reflects the integration of all functions, Preventive (PM) and Corrective (CM) maintenance into the 4W and Frozen 7D schedules.
  • Maintain an effective 4W and 7D schedule in liaison with the Asset Planner, maintenance support team and Vendors to deliver maintenance compliance in accordance with work management processes.
  • Identify any work which cannot be achieved in compliance with LAFD in support of timely engagement with the deferral process.
  • Champion adherence to the Work Management Governance Structure, ensuring the following process-critical Work Management meetings are scheduled, appropriately attended and structured in accordance with defined Terms of Reference;
  • Daily YTT/Validation Meeting
  • Weekly Measures Meeting
  • Weekly Schedule Review Meeting
  • Maintain a clear overview of the prepared corrective and planned maintenance and prioritize when to bring the work into the schedule for execution.
  • Formalised and specific feedback to Leadership on Maintenance Delivery Team's application of the 6 x Work Management Processes in support of continuous improvement.
  • Formalised and specific feedback to Leadership on Maintenance Delivery Team's use of SAP in support of continuous improvement.
  • Day-to-day assistance and on-hand support to process users.
  • Work cohesively with the Asset Planning Lead and Asset Planner to drive improvements within activity planning and scheduling.

Key technical skills:

  • Demonstrates a sound understanding of maintenance principles and practical application
  • Ability to work in a fast moving, customer focused environment whilst maintaining the highest ethical integrity.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively at all levels and encourage a team ethos across onshore and offshore core crew and subcontractors.
  • It is an expectation of the business that the job holder maintains and continues to develop the competencies necessary to carry out the role to the required standard whilst in position.
  • Be skilled in producing an integrated schedule of operational and maintenance activities.

Education:

  • An industry background and experience of working in a trade discipline is an advantage.
  • HNC/HND in an engineering discipline is desirable but not essential, preferably Mechanical / electrical or instrumentation.

Work Experience:

  • Previous demonstrable experience in the application of a similar Work Management and SAP process and all of its component parts, such as: Work Preparation, Scheduling and Execution Process Guides, Maintenance KPI Dashboard, Maintenance Prioritisation Matrix, SAP Optimization for Work Preparation, Scheduling and Execution activities through the use of Prometheus GWOS Work Preparation &Work Execution.
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices and principles
  • Skill in the use of scheduling tools such as Prometheus GWOS and SAP scheduling module.
  • Experience in the use of Primavera is an advantage.

Certifications:

  • Valid BOSIET and MIST certification.

Previous experience in the application of a similar Work. Management and SAP process and all of its component parts, such as: Work Preparation, Scheduling and Execution Process Guides, Maintenance KPI Dashboard, Maintenance Prioritisation Matrix, SAP Optimization for Work Preparation, Scheduling and Execution activities through the use of Prometheus GWOS Work Preparation & Work Execution.

Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices and principles. Skill in the use of scheduling tools such as Prometheus GWOS and SAP scheduling module. Experience in the use of Primavera would be an advantage, as well as certificates to go offshore or willingness to complete these to go offshore.
