Job Title: Maintenance Planner II
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid Role) 77079

Role Overview:
The Maintenance Planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities. Based in Houston, TX, this hybrid role involves creating comprehensive work plans that guarantee quality repairs while adhering to safety protocols. The Maintenance Planner identifies job scopes, determines root causes of issues, and devises strategies for completing tasks effectively. This includes assessing labor requirements, materials, tools, equipment, and sequencing job steps.

Must have 5+ yeas of experience.

Job Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with maintenance teams to determine the scope of repair jobs.
* Develop detailed work plans outlining job requirements, timelines, and resource allocation.
* Identify labor needs, necessary materials, special tools, and equipment for each task.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures throughout the maintenance process.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contacts to facilitate job execution.
* Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP/Fiori/S-4 Hana) to document and track maintenance activities.
* Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a Maintenance Planner in industries such as upstream oil and gas, drilling, downstream petrochemicals or refining, nuclear facilities, or mining operations.
* Background as a journeyman level maintenance craftsperson is preferred.
* Proficiency in basic PC skills, including MS applications.
* Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, with preference for SAP/Fiori/S-4 Hana.
* Strong understanding of operations and maintenance principles.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and external partners.

* Thorough knowledge of operations and maintenance practices.
* Ability to prepare comprehensive job and work plans, including scope definition, skills identification, time estimates, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
* Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.
