Job description

We are seeking someone to support our clients Maintenance Management System (MMS), Maximo, across the business for both on and offshore users in the UK and Offshore West Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Daily support, guidance and trouble-shooting
* Creation and update of system user guides
* Facilitation of training and awareness sessions
* Monitoring, actioning and implementation of System Change Requests
* Liaising with users of the business, including Maintenance Technical Authorities and Engineering functions, to assist with interrogation of MMS for plant repair history, creation of tag numbers and maintenance routines
* Ability to raise Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders and co-ordinate repairs within MMS
* Assist in development, test, implementation and roll out of new MMS modules.
Area specific responsibilities

* Experience of working with a Maintenance function. Ability to learn and understand Maintenance terminology.
* One-to-one support, guidance and trouble-shooting by phone, email, Webex and face-to-face with both onshore and offshore personnel across all business departments
* Advice and promotion of best practices for users' particular needs with Maximo
* Facilitation of engaging training and awareness sessions for individuals and groups
* Creation of user-friendly and inclusive guides/quick reference cards with particular regard to target audiences and any potential accessibility requirements
* Actioning of approved Maximo System Change Requests - this may involve challenging and suggesting compromises or improvements
* Monitoring SCR progress through approval system, especially Safety-related, and close liaison with reviewers and approvers if necessary
* Advising on SCR creation best practices to ensure quick and smooth review/approval
* Work closely with business users and Maintenance Management Team Lead to help design, test and roll out new modules and major modifications with particular regard to target users' abilities and any potential accessibility requirements
* Issuing new Tag numbers and upkeep of Tag Registers in Information Services system Documentum
* Maintain regular and productive contact with key users in all departments

You will have:
* Well established skills in IBM MAXIMO (or similar MMS) in a Maintenance Function & Microsoft Office Applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
* Understand Maintenance terminology i.e. SECE, APM, PM, KPI and TME
* Close liaison with individuals, groups and teams from different assets, departments and backgrounds via phone/email/Webex/face-to-face, providing tailored trouble-shooting and advice on best practice
* Maintenance Management revision and update experience or proven ability with similar logic/database systems
* Diligent and methodical working style, planning work and record keeping
* Ability to understand and interpret procedures and standards in relation to creation/retirement of equipment Tags and safety-related PMs
* Aptitude for imaginative collaboration with end users and MM Team Lead
Preferred
* Experience of working with a Maintenance function. Ability to learn and understand Maintenance terminology
* Experience leading training sessions/presentations
* Experience in User Guide creation and publication and presentation/coaching
