Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Global Asset Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Liaise closely with regions to gather feedback on fleet performance and coordinate the development of operational and technical improvements, enhancing fleet performance and safety
* Actively involved at all stages of the product life cycle; Define, Develop, Deliver & Support.
* Develop and monitor planned maintenance schedules for ROV & USV related sub-systems.
* Provide support to the regional technical teams and offshore field operations as requested.
* Conducting and creating formal reports for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), System Status Reports, Maintenance and Certification register audits.
* Carryout trend analysis on equipment faults and system maintenance compliance
* Identify recommended equipment spares inventory for ROV & USV systems
* Manage contractors for delivery of new equipment builds and report status to stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications:
* Degree in electronic or mechanical engineering, or equivalent vocational experience
* Strong experience in a technical discipline such as Electronics, Hydraulics, Survey systems, ICT, Networks/communications
* Strong knowledge of ROV, Vessel or Survey Systems
* Willingness to travel
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite
Desirable
* Previous experience with uncrewed vessels
* Knowledge of remote technologies and communications
