6-Month initial contract
Lake County, IL (North Chicago)

Hybrid Onsite Schedule 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
$29-$32/HR based on health benefits

Orion Group is hiring a Recruiter (early talent pipeline recruiter) for our pharmaceutical client in North Chicago IL! The Early Talent Pipeline Recruiter will be responsible for full lifecycle recruitment of extern, intern and early talent hires.

Top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position:

1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, management, marketing, or other related field required
2. 1-3 years of related recruitment experience required; campus recruitment experience or experience supporting recruitment in R&D or Operations preferred. If we find someone good that has more years of recruitment that will still fall within our pay range, I'd love to consider them.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively influence and communicate with others at all levels in an organization
4. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time
5. Proficiency in HR and recruiting systems such as Workday, SmartRecruiters, Taleo, Avature, Yello, WayUp, Handshake, LinkedIn, Brazen preferred

Recruiter Responsibilities:

  • Managing candidates through full lifecycle recruitment of key externship, internship and full-time roles, including participating in campus recruitment events, pre-screening candidates, managing candidate communications, documenting candidate progress in appropriate systems, extending offers and other recruitment-related processes
  • Being a strategic advisor to our business partners by leveraging data and market trends to develop innovative university recruitment attraction and sourcing strategies aligned to business priorities
  • Cultivating relationships with university staff and student organizations, enhancing employment brand with targeted universities and organizations
  • Supporting intern programming and event logistics planning and execution
  • Supporting other Early Talent Pipeline efforts and special projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, management, marketing, or other related field required
  • 1-3 years of related recruitment experience required; campus recruitment experience preferred
  • Experience supporting recruitment in R&D and Operations functions preferred
  • Proficiency in HR and recruiting systems such as Workday, SmartRecruiters, Taleo, Avature, Yello, WayUp, Handshake, LinkedIn, Brazen preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively influence and communicate with others at all levels in an organization
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Enthusiasm for talent and the desire to help shape future leaders
