Job description

We have an urgent opportunity for Contracts Manager position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or any field. Holding a Project Management certificate will be an advantage.
  • With minimum 10 years of experience in construction, fit out, and post contract projects within Real Estate industry direct working with contractors.
  • Extensive experience in concept stage writing, project management, claims, tendering, budgeting, payments, negotiation and evaluation of bids in post contract project awards.
  • Knowledge and experience in MS Office and technical application software.
  • Good command of English (speaking, writing, reading & reporting).

JOB HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Overseeing the contractual aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion, managing contracts, and negotiations, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the successful execution of construction projects while mitigating risks and maximizing profitability.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure that contracts accurately reflect project requirements, scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Manage contract modifications, extensions, and terminations as necessary.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to construction contracts.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to resolve disputes and mitigate legal exposure.
  • Work closely with project managers and finance teams to establish project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Monitor expenditures, track costs, and identify opportunities to optimize spending.
  • Analyze contract terms and conditions to minimize financial risks and maximize profitability.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractual matters, both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, architects, and legal counsel.
  • Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on contract requirements and objectives.
