Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Training & Competence Analyst, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for providing support to the ongoing delivery of: Regulatory; Safety Critical; Vocational
and Technical training in partnership with our external and internal training partners.
* Effective Management of Training, Competence and Emergency Response training requirements.
* Support delivery of the framework of training and assessment for applying consistent standards
across the UK
* Support to Competence Assessments
* Support to facilitation of key UK Learning and Development programs.
* Conducts all activities in a safe and effective manner and raises safety and environmental issues immediately and in line with corporate policy.
* Carries out duties in a way that maximises value and minimises waste and risk.
* Support to delivery of Safe and Stable Operations through assurance of Regulatory Training, Safety Critical Training, Vocational/Technical Training.
* Responsible for reporting of all aspects of compliance and technical training across the UK organisation.
* Support the analysis of compliance and technical training needs, the identification of compliance and technical training requirements and creation of associated training plans.
* Assist with activity associated with accreditation and audit, creating alignment with UK Competency Standards.
* Ensure the compliance and technical training activity is tracked, monitored, and reviewed to address potential issues and to drive continuous improvement.
* Support delivery of Project training as required.
* Champion the system of controlling records (certificate management), monitor and audit to ensure business needs are met including those of contracting companies.
* Responsible for developing the annual training calendar, ensuring the training costs come within budget as directed by the Team lead Technical Training
* Participate in Cultural Management Training and support ongoing Cultural Sustainment activities.
* Support the sourcing, evaluation and onboarding of UK Learning and Development training providers.
* Support the creation and delivery of in-house Learning and Development courses.
* Support onshore competence assessments as required in collaboration with UK Competence Team
* Support the UK Technical Training and Competency Lead in the creation of individual training plans.
* Scheduling and managing of learning and development offerings withing the UK LMS.
* Manage invoicing and reporting within SAP.
* Collaborates with others in the team and looks for opportunities to leverage their network and work with others to develop safe, practical, and effective solutions.
* Continuously develops ways of working by seeking feedback from colleagues and key stakeholders.
* Complies with company project management disciplines, effectively utilises knowledge databases and actively participates in training content review.
* Delivers people processes in a commercial and positive way that demonstrates a commitment to the spirit of such processes. Encourages individuals to engage fully with related activities and delivers outputs in a timely fashion.


Experience & Qualifications:
At a minimum, you will have prior experience in a similar role, plus:
* Certificate in Training Practice or equivalent
* Prior experience working in SAP is essential
* Train the Trainer or equivalent
* Project Management Fundamentals or equivalent
* Good knowledge of MS Office
