Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Supply Chain Manager (Warehouse Business Process Manager) for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with a high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position, where you have to be at least 1 day per week onsite.

What will you do


The Global Warehousing team is responsible for enabling reliable, efficient and agile Manufacturing and Distribution operations that meet the evolving business needs of our client.

Main Responsibilities

  • As the owner of Global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs):
    • Designs, documents and audits Global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) and collaborates with the Business Process Owner (BPO) to assure compliance of Global SOPs with Warehousing quality requirements.
    • Acts as the Owner/Editor of all Global Warehousing SOPs and WIs within the Controlled Document Management System (CDOCS) of our client.
    • Involves key stakeholders and ensures they are informed of, involved in and committed to Global Warehousing SOPs and WIs.
    • Participates in corporate function audits of the Warehousing & Distribution quality process.
  • As the author of the Warehouse Global Business Continuity Plan (BCP):
    • Authors and, if required, revises the Warehouse Global Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and related Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for the Warehouse process and is part of the Business Continuity Team.
  • As the owner of Global Warehousing Training:
    • Develops and documents Training Content and Documentation, Learning Activities, Training Qualifications and Assignment Vehicles for Global Warehousing processes and systems.
    • Acts as the Owner/Editor of all Global Warehousing Training Content and Documentation and Training Qualifications within the Controlled Document Management System (CDOCS) and Learning Management System (LMS) of our client.
    • Acts as the Owner of Assignment Vehicles and Learning Activities within the Learning Management System (LMS) of our client.
    • Cooperates with Learning & Performance (L&P) to define and assess effectiveness of the training strategy.
    • Collaborates with other Supply Chain functions to assure sufficient qualified instructors are assigned to deliver training.
  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with Global Distribution, Quality and Warehouse Network stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain, logistics and/or economics.
  • 4+ years’ supply chain/logistics experience preferably within the pharmaceutical industry, or another strongly regulated environment.
  • At minimum basic GMP knowledge and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of and experience with ERP and WMS systems, preferably SAP (E)WM.
  • Strong cross functional business process modelling skills.
  • Able to effectively facilitate business process modelling workshops engaging diverse, global stakeholder groups.
  • Solid understanding of warehousing processes and the ability to document processes in process flows and Quality Management System Documents (SOPs and WIs).
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with Business Process Modelling and Notation (BPMN) and technical writing skills.
  • Affinity for various learning and development methods including e-learning.
  • Preferably experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Preferably SCOR-P Certified.
  • Able to work autonomously and drive initiatives.
  • Experience operating in a matrix-based organization collaboration and leading with network.
  • Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication.
  • Excellence in working with MS Office.
