Job description

As a Subsea Services Project Manager you will develop, coordinate, and lead a project team for Services projects inclusive of the responsibility for the contractual and financial delivery of these projects. Be a key interface across the business, the customer, and the management team on all project matters. You will support the Global Fulfilment COE leader in tasks to support the business delivering for our customer.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for projects from kick-off to close-out

  • Provide leadership and sets the tone of execution excellence

  • Lead an effective Project team with aligned competency, training, and capacity to meet business and customer requirements

  • Work with the operational and functional teams for scope identification, progress reporting and change management

  • Own all activities within Project execution to ensure our products and services meet business and customer requirements

  • Use of recognised project control tools to monitor and manage progress and track multiple activities

  • Monitoring KPI's to analyse and measure performance to propose improvements and action plans

  • Collaborating with cross-functional and Global teams to align and support deliverables while sharing lessons learned

  • Ensure Clarity of all required scope and deliverables

  • Manage and report progress to stakeholders conducting status reviews

  • Implementing and owning all project accounting/budget activity

  • Participate in management meetings and influence decisions where appropriate

  • Work in compliance with company Quality Management System

To be successful in this role you will:

  • 5+ years proven experience in Project Management

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Knowledge of commercial and contract conditions applicable to the procurement of various types of goods and services.

  • Show experience of leading, mentoring, and motivating teams within an operational and matrix environment

  • Has interfaced with key stakeholders on projects to obtain, create and maintain requirements and acceptance criteria on several occasions.

  • Excited to work as part of a team in a fast-paced high energy business

  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM) or equivalent certification is preferred

  • Pragmatic in approach with a strong commercial bias and ability to balance commerciality with operational excellence

  • Entrepreneurial approach - ability to identify opportunities Flexible to respond in agile ways to changing customer needs

  • A motivated self starter, who can self-direct when required, able to use own initiative and have autonomy to make appropriate decisions but also know when escalation is required.

  • Critical thinker with problem solving abilities
