Our client, a major contractor, is seeking expat Study Managers to work on a residential basis in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the Charge: Manage multi-discipline feasibility and conceptual engineering studies for innovative projects such as carbon capture, blue and green hydrogen, energy efficiency, and emissions reduction.

  • Provide expert consultancy services to internal and external clients, ensuring strategic alignment in developing business solutions for decarbonization and new energy production.

  • Team Builder and Leader: Create a collaborative and high-performing team environment, guiding and mentoring less experienced consultants and fostering a culture of excellence.

  • Market Mover: Identify and evaluate client needs, contributing to strategic planning and business development efforts for the consultancy practice.

  • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date with market trends and identifying innovative strategies to support our client's competitive edge.

Who You Are:

  • substantial experience in consulting, engagement/project management, and/or business and resource management, ideally with experience in the New Energies or related fields.

  • Decarbonization Dynamo: Possess expert technical and practical skills in general decarbonization, renewables, hydrogen, ammonia, and carbon capture. Master the art of concept identification, review, evaluation, and selection, excelling at developing cost and schedule estimates

  • People Catalyst: Inspire and motivate, fostering a collaborative environment built on trust and open communication.

  • Communication Ace: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.

Ideal education

* Chemical engineering degree (preferred)

* chartered status
