We have a current opportunity for a Solar Project Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Houston, TX. For further information about this position please apply.

Scope:

Support the execution of company solar pipeline.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate relevant 3rd party engineers, and ensure design submittals and reviewal of accurate 30%, 60% and 90% drawings.

Develop and maintain Master Document Register (MDR) through the life of the project.

Tracking deliverables throughout the project lifecycle (recording revisions, revision purposes, distribution, and transmittal histories.

Ensure reliability, retrievability and traceability of the project data.

Process documents for record or approval.

Participate in Coordination Meetings.

Coordinate with Project Leads to ensure all document control needs are being met.

Assist throughout project lifecycle.

Requirements:

Engineering Degree (preferably Electrical)

At least 3 years of renewable energy experience is required.

Background of Utility-scale Solar.

Experience of working with 3rd party engineers.

History of reviewing 30%, 60%, 90% drawings.

Experience in solar (PV) project design or project management and technical development work.

Experience working with subcontractors and vendors.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and proven ability to learn new software programs

Strong organizational skills.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Self-starter, and naturally motivated to work hard and accomplish goals
