Job description

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Surface Facilities Optimization specialist to work for a Global Energy & Chemicals company based in Austria.

The company specializes in producing and marketing a diverse range of chemical, oil, and gas products, along with innovative process solutions. With operations spanning across oil fields in Central and Eastern Europe, the North Sea, and the Middle East and Africa, they are at the forefront of driving sustainable energy solutions worldwide.

The Role:
* Responsible for process optimization & simplification to achieve minimum production cost and emissions, reduction of energy consumption and life-cycle costs while ensuring safe operating limits.
* Contribute to department strategic goals by developing, implementing and ensuring the application of best practices, design and operation of Surface Equipment globally.
* Act as focal point across value centres and for operated and non-operated assets to ensure effective technical support of ongoing projects and operations for surface facilities equipment.
* Support Projects with design of oil and gas facilities, including pipelines, and processing plants.
* Ensure that facilities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Required Experience:
* University degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience evaluating and improving the performance of existing Upstream facilities to optimize production and minimize costs.
* Skilled application of national and international industry regulations, standards and recommended practices.
* International work experience in exploration & production environments; both onshore and offshore is an advantage.
* Experience in managing operated and non-operated ventures.
