Job Title: Senior Plant Manager

Reporting to: Senior Manufacturing Director

Location: Greenville, TX

About Us: The Senior Plant Manager plays a pivotal role within our organization, overseeing the production, maintenance, and repair of products essential to Weatherford's operations. As part of the leadership team, you will lead and develop a team, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations and adherence to quality standards. We value individuals with a strong background in manufacturing, Lean practices, supply chain management, and effective communication across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities:

Safety, Security & Compliance:

  • Uphold corporate governance and ensure compliance with all relevant policies, laws, and industry standards.
  • Prioritize Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection.
  • Demonstrate effective safety leadership and maintain a safe working environment.

Quality:

  • Maintain compliance with Quality policies and actively contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Ensure service quality and drive improvements in manufacturing processes.

Operations:

  • Manage cross-functional teams to optimize manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
  • Implement strategies for long-term operational success in meeting customer expectations.

Communication:

  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Clearly communicate expectations and responsibilities to reports.

Financial:

  • Adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Prepare feasibility studies and cost justifications for projects.

People & Development:

  • Take responsibility for personal and team development.
  • Engage in regular performance discussions and talent management activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing (10+ years), preferably in oilfield applications.
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and driving positive plant performance.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the specified location.
  • Proficiency in English; local language proficiency preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Preferred:

  • Strong understanding and experience in the oil & gas industry.
  • Experience in multi-product line manufacturing for international customers.
  • Background in machining and/or assembly processes.
  • Experience with Windchill, JD Edwards, and Oracle OTM.
