Job description

Great opportunity to work as a Senior Planning Engineer for an Operator in London.

Accountable for managing the overall Master Control Schedule, collation and reporting of progress against this Control Schedule

  • To develop the project Master Control Schedule and facilitate the operation of the project planning and progress measurement systems.
  • To develop the project reporting and information systems and facilitate the dissemination of performance and related information throughout the project team.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent experience gained in Oil and Gas industry
  • 5 years document control experience in a Project and Operational context.

Skills / experience:

  • At least 8 years in a similar role / project environment, Communications, Process minded
  • North Sea experience required, around 5 years+.
  • Experience in Risk Analysis essential
  • Strong preference for Operator experience but not essential
  • Hands on planning experience with subsea installations and hook-up would be highly desirable

Knowledge (e.g. systems, software, procedures, regulations):

  • Excellent knowledge of Primavera P6 and good knowledge of Leading Planning Packages to facilitate data transfer. Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Good understanding of project accounting and cost control processes.
