Senior Well Completions Engineer

Wanted: Experienced Completions Engineer to Join Our Client in London on a new exploration campaign in East Africa.

We are currently looking for a Senior Completions Engineer to join our team in London, providing remote support to the site exploation team in Kenya, East Africa.

This is a UK assignment and applicants MUST have the RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Review, validate and modify existing well completion design
• Review, validate and modify exiting well drilling and completion plans
• Review and validate Artificial lift design (JP, ESP & PCP) , lift curves for modelling
• Review production and injection test data and finalise learnings
• Review Production technology studies including sanding, corrosion, fines movement, material selection, scaling
• Prepare rig specifications and prepare SOW for rig tenders
• Prepare/Validate SOW for Xmas trees, completion services including slickline for tenders
• Prepare BOWD documents
• Evaluate tenders and estimate detailed well costs
• Value engineering for cost optimisation
• Reservoir management plan , Well Opex estimation and workover planning
• Validate design and drilling and completions Design and schedule :
• Prepare SOW for completion services, equipment and Artificial lift
• Prepare BOWD documents
• Tender evaluation and finalise well costs
• Well Opex estimation and Reservoir management plan

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10-15 years' experience in Oil & Gas well completion operations in exploration and development drilling and completions, sufficient experience in workover and completion of onshore wells
• Well completion design and Artificial lift design (Jet pumps, ESPs and PCPs)
• Project planning and execution of drilling programs
• Tendering and contracts management
• Well control certifications
• Proficiency in well design and AL design softwares
• Well Integrity Management systems, Standard operating procedures for drilling, completion and workover operations
• Well intervention and well workover operations
