Job description

Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Supply Chain (Analyst) (GMP) for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position, where you are expected to work at least 1 day per week from the office.

What will you do

  • The resource will work for the supply management team, reporting to the Manager Supply Management. The new hire will be in charge of:
    • In-Market-Demand monitoring and planning.
    • In market trend and daily demand review.
    • Proposes quantities and plan per market, based on in market data and market knowledge.
    • Responsible for the collaboration with the local market.
    • In charge of 5+ EU country for data monitoring and planning
    • Proposes analysis to the management
    • Informs managers of in-country trends and changes

Main Responsibilities

  • Develops solutions for daily plan change, through data analysis and market dynamics incorporation.
  • Updates and provides punctual analysis to Management on in country changes.
  • Meets daily and monthly deadline in refining and adjusting quota planning.
  • Analyze and Monitor in market demand to determine optimal supply flows with support.
  • Works closely with Regional Planning team to timely flag in market trends.
  • Involved in cross-functional project for optimization of demand and customer centricity .
  • Contributes with new ideas to continuous improvement projects.
  • Contributes to the team goals, anticipates stakeholders needs and proposes innovative actions to solve challenges.
  • Update and maintenance of the Supply Management tools (Batch tracking - Supply Power Analysis - SiMS).
  • Suggests opportunities to automate work.
  • Guide quota managers in complex cases and order processing.
  • Train new team members on used systems: SAP, SiMS, Dashboards.
  • Contributes to the team achievements and the organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain.
  • 1 - 3 years' experience.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Experience in Data Science, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial is a pre.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication.
  • Excellence in working with MS Office and advanced excel capabilities including use of pivot tables and macros.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Motivated, persistent, eager to improve, drive for excellence.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
