Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of SCM Team Lead, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Support internal clients such as Fleet & Equipment, ROV, Mobile Asset and Crewing in Supply Chain related activity
* Assist the Supply Chain Manager with planning and allocation of SCM resource
* Assist in mentoring and training other SCM personnel in all SCM and logistics activities
* Participate in pre-qualification of potential suppliers to the Company's Approved Vendor List via SAP Ariba and Exiger systems
* Ensure that all vessel and equipment logistics plans are budgeted, implemented and budgets are monitored and reported
* Ensure all Frame Agreements and Crewing Agreements are in place as required, monitored and reviewed on an annual basis as applicable
* Ensure all fleet wide agreements are administered and supported
* Monitor and take action on Vessel TM Master monthly MRs v. annual MR target
* Retain overview of TM Master MR status on all vessels
* Monitor and manage SCM specialist SES workload and VIM box
* Ensure that all annual POs are in place in due time and monitored and reported
* In conjunction with appropriate project personnel, prepare and develop SCM strategy documents and/or procurement plans
* Ensuring key SCM strategies are followed and targets are achieved
* Ensure procurement plans for vessel dockings and major Capex projects are created, populated and expedited by SCM specialists
* Effectively manage the RFQ process by preparing and issuing packages in accordance with OR Supply Strategy and Company procedures
* Ensuring strategy for vessel consolidated purchasing is implemented; monitoring of Vessel and ROV TM PRs
* Ensuring strategy for vessel consolidated shipping is implemented
* Effectively execute bid evaluation and conduct supplier negotiations as required
* Prepare recommendation summaries for award and/or tender cost input
* Effectively manage and follow-up suppliers against awarded purchase orders or subcontracts
* Manage and conduct supplier feedback assessment process during the cycle of the subcontract/purchase order and/or post completion

Experience & Qualifications:
* Considerable experience in subcontracting and procurement including experience in contract negotiations
* Considerable experience of international logistics, customs and compliance
* Experience of running a procurement team
* Experience of managing international materials and forwarding contractors
* Experience in management of the PMR process (Desirable)
* Competency in using SAP
