Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Reservoir Engineer on a contract basis. The position will be based in west London.

Client is focused on ensemble analysis - candidates need experience of handling and interpreting large amounts of data.

Must have strong experience at Petrel and Eclipse software.

You have:

  • Demonstrable track record of judicious application of Reservoir Engineering knowledge and skills, preferably including development projects, with experience in:
    • Integrated subsurface studies including analytical work, static and dynamic modelling efforts, history matching of models, use of models to inform reservoir management and development decisions
    • Knowledge and recent experience in uncertainty analysis workflows. Competent Petrel RE user and able to coach others
    • Integrating multidisciplinary data to establish coherent understanding of the subsurface and the uncertainties that matter for field development decisions
    • Identification and evaluation of well targets and target hopper management
  • Well operations, including data acquisition planning and operations support experience
