Job description

We're seeking a passionate Quantum Scientist to join a growing team and shape the future of quantum technologies.

What You'll Do:

  • Be at the forefront of innovation, designing, building, testing, and analyzing experiments in quantum communication, sensing, and precision navigation.
  • Bridge the gap between theory and reality, transforming cutting-edge research into practical applications.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and scientists to unlock the full potential of quantum technologies.
  • Share your knowledge through proposals, publications, presentations, and briefings for both internal and external audiences.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree (with 4-8 years of experience) or a Master's degree (with 2-6 years of experience) in physics, applied physics, engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus!
  • Possesses a strong research background in areas like integrated photonics, quantum optics, or quantum information science.
  • Thrives on tackling complex challenges and developing innovative solutions.
  • Has experience building and testing software prototypes, with strong analytical and computational skills.
  • Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Is a team player, eager to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving projects.

Bonus Points for:

  • Holding a Ph.D. in a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience in quantum sensing or quantum information technology.
  • Knowledge of quantum networks, communication protocols, and related software.
  • Familiarity with photonic simulation tools and microfabrication techniques.
  • Proficiency in scientific coding, data analysis, and visualization tools (MATLAB, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with photonic packaging processes.

Security Clearance:

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance is required (no clearance needed to start).
