Quality Advisor - Subsea Valves (Major Green Greenfield Project)


Our Client a major international energy company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Advisor to join our Subsea Quality team in Italy for a major new greenfield project in Suriname.

About the Role
In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and on-time delivery of Subsea (SPS & UFR) valves for this exciting project. You will liaise closely with the valve supplier, overseeing all aspects of quality control and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
* Uphold exemplary Health, Safety, Security, Environment (H3SE) standards and ensure compliance with all company HSE requirements.
* Adhere to the company's Code of Conduct and promote anti-corruption practices.
* Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes for SPS & UFR valves.
* Participate in all pre-production meetings.
* Develop and manage the valve supplier's detailed schedule.
* Monitor the valve supplier's progress and identify any potential bottlenecks that could impact project timelines.
* Ensure adherence to the quality regime, inspection, and testing program.
* Attend all testing activities and prepare comprehensive reports.
* Closely monitor site activities.
* Track mechanical completion, final documentation, packing, and shipment preparation.
* Liaise effectively with the Subsea Delivery Lead and Subsea Quality Lead.
* Issue weekly reports to the CPY, detailing project status, upcoming milestones, and any quality concerns.
* Supervise the day-to-day activities of the valve supplier and witness fabrication works.
* Oversee the prompt issuance of the dispatch dossier with all necessary certifications and ensure timely finalization of the manufacturing record book.
* Assess and monitor the Technical Qualification Program, ensuring all technologies employed for SPS & I-IFR valves are qualified for their intended purpose.
* Supervise qualification and testing activities with the support of technical specialists.
* Monitor the impact of the qualification and testing program on the project schedule.
* Report directly to the Subsea Delivery Lead.

The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience (minimum 10 years) working with valve suppliers.
* At least 5 years' experience within a similar project environment.
* In-depth knowledge of large bore valves is essential.
* Strong understanding of valve manufacturing processes and a proven track record of expediting quality supplier output and delivery.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Proficiency in relevant industry software applications.
* Fluency in English is required.
