Project Controls Engineer

London - Hybrid (Will also consider candidates in Aberdeen)

Great opportunity to work for a Major Energy Operator, who are currently investing significantly in its Offshore Wind portfolio, developing wind farms across two leases in the Irish Sea, and four assets offshore New York and Massachusetts - amongst other locations such as NL, Germany, Japan & Vietnam.

The Role:
* Deliver project and reporting services and ensure the integrity and effectiveness of estimating, planning / scheduling, cost engineering, project MoC, and project/function risk management
* Deliver an integrated Master Control Schedule (MCS) and level 1 schedule for the project / programme
* Coordinate quarterly financial updates (QPF's) and internal Project Controls verification reviews (Stage Gate/MCEs)
* Ensure Project Information Management support is in place to support the project / programme
* Ability to learn/adapt to new energy partners and stakeholders

Required Experience:
* Degree in Engineering, Technical Discipline or Project Management
* Wind power industry experience in a project controls role
* Major project experience (5-10 years)
* Solid, broad-based project experience in the concept development, selection, design and/or construction phases of projects with an excellent track record of delivery
* Understanding of different economic models/payment mechanisms available in New Energy
