Procurement Analyst I
Miami, FL (hybrid role working 2 to 3 days on site and the balance of the time working from home)
6 month contract (possibility to extend)
Hourly Pay Rate - $25-28/hr

As a Procurement Analyst I, you will perform duties as assigned and work with other members of the Purchasing Team to ensure material availability for the production and service of medical diagnostic instruments for our customers in hospital and laboratory environments supporting patient health.

We're looking for associates who thrive in a team-oriented, goal focused environment. The Procurement Analyst I will have the opportunity to be a significant contributor to a team of professionals procuring manufacturing components from a worldwide supply base.

This position is "on-site". This position reports to the Materials Supervisor. This position will work with the procurement team and be responsible for purchasing rapid testing components and operational supplies will the support the team as follows. The incumbent will be expected to follow standard practices and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Placing new or expediting existing orders. This role will resolve invoicing and accounting issues as they arise, working directly with Buyers and Accounts Payable.
* Notifies suppliers of change in order revisions, forecast or any deviations to ensure they are producing to the most up to date drawings, demand and certificates.
* This person will request documentation or order status updates from suppliers in accordance with our supplier approval process including, new supplier forms, business continuity plans, and other information as needed.
* This person will also ensure that the supplier documentation collected is saved in the proper locations per outlined work instructions.
* The person selected will also work directly with select vendors ensuring their items are available for production and customers.
* Will also ensure approved supplier part database is maintain in Oracle.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* A Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain required with 0-2 years of experience.
* Requires strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal leadership skills in a high-volume work environment.
* Must have a practical working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems: PRMS and Oracle working knowledge is preferred.
* Basic Microsoft skills, ERP (Oracle/SAP) experience in procuring perishable or background in the medical industry.
* Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel with the ability to learn new programs that are job specific.
* US citizenship or existing eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Knowledge of how to effectively operate in a regulated procurement environment (FDA, GMED, NCIS etc.).
* High level of fluency in MS Excel and Outlook and a medium level of skill in the balance of the MS Office suite of programs.
* Ability to work independently with minor direction, as well as the ability to function in a team environment
