Job description

We have an urgent opportunity for Principal Continuous Improvement position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Holding certificate accredited in Lean Six Sigma and seasoned in end-to-end Process Management, Change Management, Risk Management and Organizational Effectiveness.
  • Accreditation as a Master Black Belt and Kaizen facilitator.
  • With minimum 17 years of experience in similar role, having Oil and Gas / Petrochemical / Energy or Refinery experience is a must, having TL levels with a proven affinity to Lean/CI.
  • Knowledge and extensive experience Lean methodology & Coach Initiatives, drafting and improving SOP/ training manuals, developing and implementing organizational development initiatives.
  • Sound understanding and knowledge of process management, especially of the Maintenance and Operations processes. Strong interpersonal, analytical, communication, presentation, coaching, influencing and project management skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office and technical application software.
  • Good command of English (speaking, writing, reading & reporting).

JOB HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Provides thoughts, consultancy, and solutions to all CLIENT Upstream (Exploration and Production) Streams/ functions in CI initiatives &, associated projects, Lean Methods, and Lean / CI Competencies.
  • Acting as key player to drive lean changes and to pro-actively support the frontline through this change journey, as well as actively work in partnership with the multiple functions to further develop and implement the Business Improvement Plans of their assigned areas and their related processes and their team and individual goals.
  • Understand and coach Frontline Operations and Maintenance Execution in practice and theory.
  • Handle the duality of in-depth technical engagement coupled with professional Lean/Continuous Improvement (CI) implementation advice.
  • Lead Organizational Development activities that require the incumbent to build an effective liaison with Operational Excellence and Learning professionals and carry out selected activities; In order to activate and enable the shop floor to improve their daily work processes, eliminate waste and unnecessary CLIENTS bureaucracy.
  • Coaching on collaboration between teams and exchange of best practices and enable the implementation of quality work processes.
  • Design and support on creation of LEAN KPIs, metrics & visualization.
  • Support innovation & process re-design thinking by using the Lean Six Sigma methodology to step change improvement in margin, cost, energy efficiency, organizational capability
  • Advise in the use of the methodology while applying Continuous Improvement to specific business needs with the specific aim to deliver improvement projects on schedule, with benefits realized and competencies and culture embedded at all levels of the business.
