Location - Hinkley Point C, Somerset
Rates - ECSA pay rates + overtime + excellent benefits from day one
4 day working week

Orion Group are delighted to confirm we are sourcing permanent Pipefitters to work on the Hinkley Point C Project in Somerset. This is the biggest energy construction project in the UK, offering fantastic wages, overtime payments at enhanced rates as well as accommodation allowance, travel allowance, bonus, pension and generous holiday allowance benefiting travelling trade candidates!

This expansive Project is estimated for completion in 2031, giving the opportunity of extensive earning potential.

Qualifications, one of following:

  • ACE Card

  • Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering Construction - Pipefitter Standard (ST0162)

  • Diploma in Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems - Pipefitting

  • ECITB Diploma in Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems - Pipefitting SCQF Level 6

  • ECITB Skills Test Alternative / Skills Test Number: TPF05

Skills and duties:

  • Shaping of pipework components by removing material and using pressure, hand tools, appropriate methods and equipment

  • Assembly of pipework components to meet the specification; securing and checking using appropriate methods, connectors and securing devices

  • Preparation of the working area, materials and equipment in order that further engineering activities can be carried out

  • Positioning and the installation of pipework by securing equipment and components in accordance with the specification

  • Carrying out checks on pipework installations using appropriate sequencing and techniques

  • Able to work using isometric drawings

  • Large bore and small bore pipework and header installations
