Pipefitters

Location - Rosyth, Fife

Duration - long term temporary, possibly permanent

Immediate start

Rates:

PAYE £17.12 per hour plus radius allowance (over 35 miles) and overtime

UMBRELLA PAYE £21.57 per hour + overtime and radius allowance (over 35 miles)

Ideally will have worked in the marine industry with experience of Royal Navy ships and submarines, Royal Fleet Auxiliary. Other industries also considered.

  • Able to take wire templates and manufacture pipes from templates and drawings.
  • Ability to manufacture pipe work in a variety of materials including steel , stainless steel, nickel alloy, copper alloy, conduit and plastics using both hand and hydraulic bending machines.
  • Being able to undertake high integrity brazing, bore matching, TIG, MIG, MMA all to a minimum of class 2 would be an advantage.
  • Carry out process inspection, survey, removal and installation of all pipe systems at both LP and HP levels.
  • Cleaning up of own work arisings.
  • Slinging duties as required

You will hold qualifications in at least one of the following:

  • Apprenticeship Indentures. Craftsmanship Certificates, NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 (This could be in Plumbing or Pipefitting)

You will be able to meet requirements for MOD Security Clearance and Disclosure Scotland
