Job description

Orion Group Life Sciences are currently recruiting a Patient Access specialist (Hybrid) on behalf of our Multinational Biopharmaceutical client based in Dublin on an initial 11-month contract with huge potential to extend.

You will work in partnership with medical affairs colleagues, product marketing teams, UK HTA colleagues and global/regional market access colleagues to coordinate the development of technical submissions to the NCPE and other relevant stakeholders related to medicines reimbursement.

Role Functions:

  1. Provide project management support to the Patient Access function related to:
  • Development of Rapid Review and HTA submissions
  • Completion of Horizon Scanning requirements
  • Pricing applications
  1. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and medical affairs colleagues to support same projects
  2. Collaborate with UK HTA and Outcomes Research team to understand economic models and related data requirements
  3. Gather and assess data for inclusion in required submissions
  4. Undertake special projects/assignments on an ad-hoc basis in support of submission development e.g. Burden of Illness, Costing studies
  5. Keep up to date and provide expertise on technical requirements and the environment as it relates to medicines reimbursement
  6. Support internal pricing processes and analysis
  7. Support third party vendor management

Experience:

  • Experience in Access/ health economics / outcomes research environment would be an advantage but also experience in pharmaceutical business management.
  • Broad understanding of the processes related to access and pricing in Ireland
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to work well within a cross-functional team and coordinate a number of projects for different parts of the business simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • Masters in pharmaco-economics, health economics or related field.
