Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Package Manager specialising in Inter-Array Cables. The position will be based in London on a permanent basis, with an international and industry-leading energy company.

Accountabilities
As Inter-Array Cables Package Manager you will develop and provide leadership to a multidisciplinary cables team and will have accountability for the delivery of the Inter-Array cables contracts

As Inter-Array Package Manager your primary responsibilities will be;
* HSSE performance through design and implementation to eliminate or reduce risks during construction, operation and maintenance,
* Review and implementation of FEED contracts, support main asset procurement and detail design.
* Define, develop and successfully manage the interfaces with the rest of project packages,
* Undertake tender document preparation, bid reviews and evaluations, contract negotiation and complete contract execution, including claim management up to hand over to the operation team of the inter-array cable related contracts,
* Develop the day-to-day interaction with the Contractor to ensure adherence with the HSSE, quality, scope, budget, technical requirements and time schedule,
* Manage technical and commercial risks, issues and impacts of changes to the project,
* Report to the Senior Project Manager on progress, issues and changes
* Coordinate a multidisciplinary team to deliver the works under your responsibilities

Required experience
* Master's in Engineering with considerable experience and knowledge in submarine cable system design and installation operations,
* Good knowledge of current health, safety and environmental legislation,
* Significant and in-depth experience in Project Management of offshore submarine cables,
* High level of competency in contract management, claims management, negotiation techniques and dispute resolution methodologies,
* Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude ensuring adequate interfaces, controls and communication are established and maintained in all aspects of project management,
* Ability to identify a problem or conflict, identify potential solutions and evaluate the solutions leading to a recommendation for the optimum solution,
* Good English communication skills both written and verbal
