Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Operations Specialist on a contract basis. The position will be based in Baku. For further information about this position please apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead risk assessments for change management, utilizing various techniques to identify potential risks and controls.
  • Ensure approval of residual risks at appropriate levels within the organization for all project changes.
  • Coordinate all project change management processes for a specific region, integrating project scopes seamlessly.
  • Manage the risk of changes to existing facilities through a robust change management process.
  • Ensure timely closure of pre-implementation actions and post-implementation actions for change management processes.
  • Act as a central point of contact for coordinating with various teams including facility support engineers, project engineers, and contractors to integrate change management scopes into operational facilities.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in understanding the operations of both offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills.
  • Familiarity with office productivity tools such as Office 365, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to interpret and mark-up technical drawings including P&IDs.
  • Collaboration with project, commissioning, and design contractors to obtain necessary technical drawings.
  • Competence in performance management to handle multiple change management processes simultaneously.
  • Capability to escalate and address performance issues related to change management risks effectively.
