Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Operations Lead, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Provide a paragraph/few sentences that give the key purpose of the role.
* Accountable for the development of operating integrity framework and its assurance and governance processes across the company.
* Ensure best practice execution of operations within the company's operated assets.
* Fulfils the role of Operations EA2 under the company's Technical Authority & Engineering Authority standard and framework.
* Provides subject matter expert input across the full lifecycle of all operated assets.
* Lead the refresh of the company's Permit to Work Process (PtW)and Safe Isolation and Reinstament of Plant processes - both the development and coordination of the embedding. The revised processes will be standardized across the assets and ensure the right balance between effective and efficient. This activity will be done in close cooperation with asset personnel.
* Lead the update to the SE Pre Startup Safety Review (PSSR) process and ensure process input such as Completions are clearly integrated into the PSSR process.
* Operations Skill pool development
* Working with the Training and Competence Team drive improvements in the effectiveness and efficiency of the T&C process for Operated Assets. A krey focus is on how to measure status of T&C across shifts.
* Maintains an active cross asset Operations Integrity Forum
* Production Operations
* Provide support and objective input to any complex production operations issues or threats across the operated assets.

Experience & Qualifications:
* Degree preferred, however not essential with the right experience.
* Describe depth/breadth of experience required to carry out the role competently and effectively.
* The post demands in depth experience of the oil and gas industry including significant experience within operations at supervisory and management levels to manage the diverse range of activities.
* Provide details of any regulatory requirements the role-holder must satisfy.
* BOSIET and MIST (or ability to get these)
