Marketing Executive

We a fantastic new opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our established Marketing & Communications team. Based in our Inverness Head Office, the Marketing Executive will play an important role in delivering a range of marketing and communications activities, supporting the continued growth, development, and success of the Orion Group.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies across a variety of channels.

  • Enhancing the company's digital marketing and email marketing capabilities, in conjunction with specialist external service providers.

  • Work with recruitment teams to deliver tailored digital marketing activities and campaigns, helping to provide content and imagery to maximise engagement.

  • Help manage existing social media channels and consider new platforms.

  • Create and post, powerful and targeted content for our social media channels.

  • Liaise with specialist external service providers on continued platform developments and SEO activities.

  • Support the creation and optimisation of website content for enhanced user experiences and maximum search engine visibility.

  • Utilise analytical tools to derive actionable insights, helping to refine marketing strategies, campaigns, and content to deliver optimal performance.

  • Provide and/or co-ordinate graphic design requirements for the production of on/offline marketing materials.

  • Assist head office functions, regional recruitment offices, brands, and new staff with requests for internal/external marketing and communications support.

  • Occasionally there will be a requirement to work out with the normal operational hours and provide your own transport to ensure the successful completion of your duties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

This role would ideally suit a marketing/communications graduate with some experience in these areas and devising/delivering digital marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will also have excellent communications skills, a creative flair, competent graphic design skills, and the ability to transform ideas into captivating visual content. Candidates should also have competent knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Suite and Canva.

This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, and we are happy to consider hybrid working.
