Job Title: Maintenance Technician for Lubricant Blending and Packaging

Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations associated with blending and packaging lubricants at our Warminster plant. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the facility's assets are well-maintained to achieve consistent quality, superior customer service, and an unwavering commitment to health, safety, security, and environmental preservation (HSSE).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and oversee all plant equipment, including blending and packaging machinery, valves, pumps, as well as hot oil and steam systems.
  2. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization within equipment, materials, and work areas.
  3. Execute manual labor tasks proficiently, prioritizing safety while fulfilling job duties that may involve lifting, pushing, and pulling.
  4. Manage work orders promptly, including preventative maintenance, corrective tasks, and predictive maintenance assignments.
  5. Evaluate projects, create bills of materials, seek purchase approvals, and procure necessary parts and equipment.
  6. Support inventory maintenance for backup equipment, replacement components, and shop materials crucial for efficient manufacturing and maintenance operations.
  7. Proactively identify and prevent HSSE and quality-related issues, recommending continuous improvement solutions to enhance processes.
  8. Collaborate within a team-based leadership environment, adhering to all relevant BP standards.
  9. Undertake skilled work in fabrication, assembly, welding, cutting, and pipefitting.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience:

  • Willingness to work primarily on the 1st shift while being open to training on various shifts.
  • Capability to operate Motorized equipment (Fork truck, High Reach, among other assigned duties).
  • Basic understanding of computer programs (e.g., email, data entry, document review).
