Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Logistics Coordinator, this will be a full-time office-based role in Aberdeen. Whilst initially a contract vacancy, the intention is for this to develop into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective and efficient performance of all marine, aviation and shore base activities
  • Maintain all Logistics SLA's.
  • Raise all logistics service requests and approve invoices
  • Provide logistics SME to all relevant business groups and company management
  • Central role in Marine and Aviation incident investigation
  • Assist with development of annual OPEX budgets in line with business planning requirements for all duty holder and operated assets
  • Promote and implement measurable continuous improvements to meet ever changing company requirements and producing KPI reports.
  • Support in contract tender exercises when required
  • Communicate effectively internally and externally to maintain, build and develop key relationships with onshore, offshore and logistics service provider
  • Build strong relationships with supply vessel crews and provide support for all vessel queries incl. crew changes etc
  • Liaise with Aviation Co-Ordinator's to understand demand and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Deputises for Logistics Team Lead

Experience & Qualifications:

  • North Sea Oil & Gas Logistics experience essential
  • Aviation or Marine experience essential (vessel Schedule and Helicopter Scheduling)
  • Knowledge of using Kabal
  • Knowledge of using Vantage
  • Experience in similar role
