Job description

You will be a part of the central dispatching and logistics team that covers the company's North American acreage. The primary duties for this role include coordination and dispatching of transportation for company's oil and water. Another key responsibility will be to validate data discrepancies for water and oil picked up from company locations and dropped off at terminals. Personnel working in this logistics role will be on a rotational schedule where coverage may include fielding evening calls.

Strong communication, organizational and time management skills are necessary, as well as a self-motivated and enthusiastic approach.

What we need from you:

  • Effectively identify and dispatch emergent and scheduled tank hauls
  • Monitor telemetry to detect equipment issues and completed hauls
  • Communicate with haulers to resolve issues encountered on site
  • Identify field issues and communicate with field operations on potential solutions
  • Create work orders for additional service work
  • Document and troubleshoot haul rejections
  • Validate data discrepancies between water and oil picked up and tank telemetry
  • Collaborate across teams to drive improvement into the business
  • Provide root cause and failure analysis to help the business grow
  • Analytical prowess to leverage data and available resources to resolve key issues that arise in field operations.

Required skills:

  • Cygnet
  • MS Office Suite
  • Experience in oil and gas or other manufacturing/industrial business
  • Understanding of oil and gas industry

Preferred skills and behaviors:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with remote staff on problems that may be encountered using phone, video or virtual assist technology
  • Experience using data to drive decision-making
  • Conscious of desired vs. non-desired outcomes and willingness to affect change

Education:

  • High school or higher

Schedule:

  • 7 on / 7 off - rotational schedule
    • Monday - Sunday
    • 10 - 12 hours/day
