Job description

We have a current opportunity for a HSE Legal Compliance Auditor on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Atlantic City. For further information about this position please apply.

Role objective:
* Support the US HSE legal compliance Lead with coordinating compliance verification strategy
* Perform HSE compliance assessments and audit for all US onshore sites
* Identify non-compliance with HSE legal requirements and input them into our corrective action system
* Input HSE legal compliance evidence into the legal register system
* Work with local QHSE supervisors to coordinate schedules for onsite audits
* Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Success criteria:
All sites audited for HSE legal compliance:
* Ability to work within HSE team to deliver required compliance outputs in a professional and effective manner
◦ Reporting of reliable and timely QHSE data
◦ Analytical and structured approach to daily work load
* Audits well documented and communicated to the relevant stakeholders
◦ Evidence of compliance and non-compliance uploaded into systems

Key Tasks:
* Determine compliance with legal requirements for wind, solar and battery HSE regulations
* Ensure evidence of compliance with HSE requirements is uploaded into the legal registers
* Ensure non-compliance of HSE legal requirements is uploaded in the corrective action system
* Partner with HSE Supervisors to ensure overall HSE legal compliance
* Review HSE gap assessments conducted at projects to determine level of compliance with regulations
* Working with certified management systems
* Knowledge of audit principles, practices and techniques
* Audit-management skills

Skilled within:
* Note-taking and reporting
* interviewing & presentation techniques

Desirable qualifications/experience:
* Academic or technical background, e.g., BSc in an Occupational Q / HSE and/or engineering type field
* Experience with Environmental management in an construction, operations or offshore environment
* IT literate (Microsoft office package, knowledge of Synergi is an advantage)
* Completed OSHA general industry training , Construction certificate or ASP/CSP level, or similar recognized (Q)HSE qualification
