Job description

Location: Remote (on-site available in either Irvine, CA or Waukegan, IL if preferred)

Contract Length: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $55-60/hr

Candidate Requirements:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related discipline
  • Experience in scientific evidence generation including study protocol development, research execution, and internal/external dissemination
  • Experience in managing third party vendors, optimizing project budgets/timelines, and tracking deliverables in timely manner

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience in working with cross-functional team in pharmaceutical industry, managed care, and/or related setting
  • Experience in ophthalmology

Scope of Services for Potential Candidate

  • Develop and deliver HEOR evidence generation strategies in alignment with cross-functional brand plans supporting pipeline and on-market assets in ophthalmology
  • Design and execute robust real-world evidence and economic modeling studies and communicate findings internally and externally
  • Provide HEOR inputs to clinical development strategy and clinical trial programs, including patient-reported outcomes strategies
  • Collaborate effectively with HEOR Center of Expertise (CoE) counterparts in Health Economics (HE), Real-world Evidence (RWE), and Patient-Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR)
  • Represent HEOR in cross-functional meetings for assigned programs and develop materials to support cross-functional discussions
