Geophysicist

We have a current opportunity for a Geophysicist on a contract basis. The position will be based in west London or Aberdeen (contractor's choice).

1. Candidates must have a track record of judicious application of geophysics knowledge and skills, preferably including development projects, with experience in:
* Seismic interpretation (in Petrel) particularly in deep water and shallow water clastic environments
* Seismic-well ties
* Depth conversion and uncertainty analysis
* Seismic stratigraphic techniques
* Knowledge and recent experience in planning and building structural geomodels.

2. Must have an excellent understanding of the integration of geophysics with other disciplines including geology, petrophysics, reservoir engineering, drilling, completions and production technology.

3. Recent experience in using Petrel for interpretation and advanced/expert level command of Petrel's seismic interpretation utilities
