6-month initial contract
M-F 8am-4:30pm
$22/HR

Orion Group is hiring a Financial Analyst to work onsite for our pharmaceutical client in North Chicago, IL.
To be considered for this position you must take an Excel Skills Test at the end of the indeed application to show proficiency with V-lookups, Pivot Tables, and other basic Excel functions.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing primary support for the preparation of Product Financial Flows for products and transfer prices process, monitor the margin accounting journal entries, and support month-end accounting/reporting for Margin ledger and annual cost planning.
Financial Analyst Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating Product Financial Flows
- Support the preparing the documentation of transfer pricing calculations in accordance with tax rules, including information and data gathering, status calls with stakeholders.
- Support TP issuance for products in Planning process and Daily process
- Develop and deliver training to affiliates and headquarters finance groups
- Monitor the margin posting programs and trouble shoot issues
- Supports month-end accounting including preparing journal entries and reporting for margin ledger and annual cost planning related to product cost.
Financial Analyst Qualifications:
- B.A./B.S. in Accounting, Finance or Management Information System required
- 0-2 years of experience working in financial analysis, audit, costing accounting, or working in a global tax environment, experience in transfer pricing preferred. - open to various past work experiences, strong desire to learn and dev
- Strong critical thinking skills, applying transfer pricing concepts to differing fact patterns.
- Must possess strong attention to detail and have an exceptional analytical and quantitative background.
- Very strong organizational skill set with ability to prioritize, plan, work independently, implement projects, and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
