Job description

The role of Field Project Manager has been created to support ongoing growth within the O&M Projects team, to support ongoing demands from our clients and deliver our projected pipeline of work.

Key Accountabilites

  • Health and Safety management of projects from design through to completion
  • Completing inductions and promoting the clients safety culture
  • Creating work instructions and technical documents to ensure safe working practices
  • Development and review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Site audits and identification of potential additional revenue streams
  • Suppliers and contractor audits to ensure compliance and continuity of service
  • Innovating to increase productivity and life cycle of our clients' assets
  • Building relationships with new and existing suppliers and contractors
  • Procurement of products and services seeking competitive pricing
  • Quote building and discussing with all stakeholders
  • Project management from conception to completion including reports and supporting evidence
  • Punch list creation and completion for the onboarding of new assets
  • Managing warranty claims
  • Managing the field side of business-critical projects, such as the Predictive Maintenance roll out
  • Technical support to Regional Operations Management and operatives
  • Supporting portfolio management team with technical assistance

Skills and Competencies

  • Project management
  • IT - Excel/Word
  • Electrical/Technical understanding of renewable energy
  • Understanding of industry best practice guidelines/BS and IEC standards
  • Full driving license

  • Entrepreneurial - self driven and can work with little supervision
  • Used to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines in a very demanding environment
  • Commercially astute, able to identify key value drivers
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with both, internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work flexible hours and away from home
  • Motivated leader able to manage and supervise others

Qualifications and Experience

  • Significant GMPV and ESS experience
  • Electrical background preferred
  • Health and safety qualification desirable
  • HV qualification desirable
