Location - Babcock International, Rosyth, Fife
Dayshift PAYE £17.12 per hour + £2.40 per hour holiday pay
Radius allowance for candidates 35 miles from site
6 months+

Our client, Babcock International based at Rosyth Dockyard are seeking qualified Fabricators to join the team that is at the forefront of supporting the production of the Type 31/ Inspiration class of warships.

Role requirements:

You'll have the ability to read engineering drawings and interpret work instructions, be competent in the use of hand held oxy-fuel burning tools and general workshop machinery and tools specific to fabricating (grinders, disc cutters, guillotines and band saws)

Ideally will have worked in the marine industry with experience of Royal Navy ships and submarines, Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels or large commercial ships - although other relevant experience will be considered.

You will need to satisfy Baseline Security Clearance and Disclosure Scotland check.

Qualifications required in at least one of the following:

Indentured Apprenticeship
Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in a sheet metal, structural steel or fabrication related discipline
Level 3 Engineering qualification relevant to the role

PAYE
Dayshift - £17.12 + £2.40 per hour holiday pay
O/T - £25.68 + £3.60 per hour holiday pay
B/S - uplift of £5.14 + 72p per hour holiday pay
N/S - uplift of £8.05 + £1.13 per hour holiday pay
