Summary/objective

Responsible for the qualification and validation of new Grinding and Automation Equipment such as CNC Grinders and Molding Process Automation. Also responsible for Maintaining project timelines with Suppliers, Mechanical Engineers, Project Engineer, Process Engineer, and Engineer Manager for product transfer to manufacturing. Interacts with other functional areas such as Production, Quality Assurance, and Scheduling for implementation.

· Manages project timelines with Suppliers, Mechanical Engineers, Project Engineer, Process Engineer, and Engineer Manager

· Creates IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and final reports for new equipment and product adoption according to internal procedures

· Reviews all manufacturing processes prior to and after new operations for cost effectiveness and feasibility

· Optimizes work force utilization, facility layout and operational data, and process flow charts to determine the most efficient utilization of workers and equipment

· Trains Operators/Setup Techs

· Troubleshoots New Equipment Issues and Creates Troubleshooting Guides for New Equipment

· Maintains Troubleshooting Binder for Each Machine Containing:

-Wiring Diagram

-Equipment Drawings

-Troubleshooting Guides

-Maintenance Records

-Replacement Parts List

· Evaluates Machine Preventive Maintenance Program and tracks Equipment Change Request (ECR) program

· Supports Toolroom on Maintenance of New Equipment and Robotics/Automation

· Provides Feedback to Departmental Leads and Supervisors on Maintaining Equipment Efficiencies and Current State

· Researches and Evaluates the Feasibility of New Technologies Such as Automation

· Facilitates 5S and Lean Six Sigma Programs for assigned Department
