Locations: Westlakes or Warrington with some Hybrid

Role Description

Engineer/Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer:

  • Production of several piping and associated mechanical equipment design packages
  • Provide mechanical engineering input for application of best practices and LFE; consideration of ALARP, nuclear accountancy, permanent/temporary containment, and contamination control approaches
  • Satisfy the functional and legal requirements of the project
  • Production of detail drawings and 3D models using Autodesk software
  • Production of design schedules, risk assessments, site surveys, and CDM documentation
  • Liaison with stakeholders and site personnel
  • Plant configuration walkdowns
  • Determining engineering requirements

Experience & Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience with draughting procedures and relevant drawing and documentation standards
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry
  • Experience with differing Autodesk software's (AutoCAD, inventor)
  • Demonstratable successful piping design deliverables from concept

Desirable

  • Chartership or working towards chartership
