We have a current opportunity for a Energy Efficiency Specialist on a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha. For further information about this position please apply.
* Provide support to Operations and ensure optimum operation of existing assets with respect tit energy efficiency. Review existing operational philosophy and identity areas for improvement.
* In collaboration with HSEQ, FOPS and the Digital Project Group develop dashboards and digital twin use cases related to energy efficiency
» Participate in annual sustainability report preparation for NOC and Qatar Energy
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education: Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science or in related discipline from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum a 1 (1 years total experience, with a minimum of 5 years professional experience in energy efficiency, including policy development, reduction program and action plans (preferably oil and gas or similar industry).
High level of technical expertise in the field of energy optimization essential, with experience in energy transition an advantage.
Familiarity with gas- and electrically-driven rotating machinery in an energy efficiency perspective is a strong advantage.
Evidence of practical application of engineering science and technology, this includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment design.
Demonstrated ability to work across functions and to deliver through others.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals.
Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
